Here is my take on creating the iconic T-rex from scratch. The high poly base sculpt was done in Zbrush and the low poly mesh was retopologised in Maya. Using references from the Jurassic park movies and online sources, I integrated as much detail where neccesary, whilst trying to replicate the research that was used to fuel the projects progress. Upon rewatching the Jurassic park movies for like the 100th time, I was inspired by some of the environmental scene takes. Using Unreal engine and Quixel Megascans, a small scene was composed to showcase the dinosaur living in a forestry environment. Overall, this was a perfect opportunity to enhance my skills in Zbrush, as well as further some creature design. Thanks for viewing.
